The Fruits
In 2019, we won the "Breakthrough Filmmakers" award from Inspiration Photographers and the Bride Association.
In 2020, our documentary *Nem eu sei tudo* was selected for the Portland festival and won an award from Doc Without Boards. Then, in 2023—three years after its premiere—the documentary was selected for the Hip Hop Cine Fest in Rome.
In addition, we have received five other nominations for "Filmmaker of the Year" from Inspiration in the years following our initial awards. 2021 brought us the trophy for "Family Film of the Year"—a feat we repeated in 2022 and 2025—securing us a spot among the world's top 15 filmmakers according to Inspiration Photographers, with twenty individual awards there and 27 on the Bride Association platform.
So, did that make sense?
If so, we need to agree on one thing. We are looking for couples who—even if they feel camera-shy—understand the importance of us being there: exchanging vows, living in the moment, and enjoying every passing second. People who truly experience every embrace and dance as if no one is watching. Our work is a two-way street; we need you to live the experience and simply be yourselves.
If the passion for movies and storytelling wasn't born with us, each of us certainly discovered it at some point.
We are made of people—our "sailors"—who are passionate about what they do, each bringing unique traits, perspectives, and skills that enrich the whole. We love meeting people, diving into their stories, and creating timeless films born from those experiences.
As a fun fact, Ancora was born in 2015, the brainchild of Fer, Gheno, and Lucas. Over time, we found other amazing people to join the team, such as Ana, Mavi, and Afonso.

Just as each of us is unique, we seek out what is unique in every couple, every story, and every person. We have always believed that the most precious aspect of any wedding or event lies not in the day itself, but in the people and how they experience it.

Perhaps this word defines our work and our perspective. We go in search of the invisible; we seek out the personality and uniqueness of each individual and translate that into images and sounds, combining every resource at our disposal to capture what is most precious in a film.
